DIGITAL DONATIONS

Our young people rely on digital devices for far more than the usual chatting, entertainment or studying. They are also vital to them for translation, finding directions and staying connected with their family. Not all our young people have access to a phone, tablet or laptop which presents many hurdles in everyday life.

If you have a preloved, working device, please consider donating it to us to give all young refugees and asylum seekers an equal chance. You can read our requirements and find out where to donate here. We ask that you complete this form to donate.

PEDAL POWER

Our young people love to cycle: it gives them freedom, fun autonomy, confidence and so much more!

In 2025, we have so far distributed more than 130 bikes, but still have a waiting list. We are appealing for preloved adult/young adult bikes and donations for bike safety equipment.

£5 pays for emergency lights

£10 pays for a lock

£15 pays for rechargeable lights

£20 pays for a helmet

To donate your preloved bike, please contact lou@kran.org.uk

Please donate here to help us provide vital bike equipment, so that our young people can get on the road safely.

DESTITUTION FUND

KRAN has agreed a strict set of policies, procedures and criteria to ensure that the Destitution Fund is primarily used for those most in need.

An open register is kept of all young people who need to access the fund, for what purpose and the amount, and most funds will be for short-term emergency uses of under £25. Any regular payments agreed in the medium term will require additional evidence of need and will not be paid in cash.

The current immigration process is extremely harsh and makes this group of young people even more vulnerable. For most, we hope the situation will be temporary and KRAN wants to help the young people over this difficult period as best it can. The Destitution Fund is a lifeline to these young people to ensure that they are offered support and a positive future.

‌If you would like to support this particular fund, one-off donations or a monthly amount will be gratefully received using the Donate button on this page. Please Gift Aid wherever possible. Thank you.
